Eucharist

The central celebration at both parishes each week is the Sunday Celebration of the Eucharist, 9:00 AM at Christ the King Church and 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at both churches a half hour before mass. Mass is also celebrated at Christ the King at5:30 PM on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and 7:30 AM on Fridays. Mass is celebrated at 5:30 PM on Thursdays at St. Mary Church. For homebound parishioners who cannot attend mass, please contact the office so that the Eucharist can be brought to them in their homes.

Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism, which is the foundation of our Christian life, is a key moment in every Catholic Christian’s life. Please contact the parish office as soon as your baby is born to schedule baptism. For those who are beyond infancy, please contact the parish office in reference to pre-baptismal catechesis.

Marriage

For the Sacrament of Marriage, please talk with a priest at least six months before the desired wedding date but before setting the date. After speaking with a priest, you may contact the parish office to schedule use of the church.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

R.C.I.A. is the process by which adults and children over the age of seven are initiated into the Catholic Church. It is a process of prayer, discernment, and learning more about the Catholic faith for those who are seeking baptism or, for those already baptized in other Christian traditions, who are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church through Confirmation and Eucharist. Candidates (already baptized) and catechumens (un-baptized) from both parishes currently meet on Wednesdays, 6:30 PM-8:00 PM at Christ the King Church.

Liturgy Committees exist at both parishes to facilitate the planning of dynamic liturgical celebrations and to foster continuing education about Catholic liturgy among the parishioners. The following ministries are involved at both parishes:

The Liturgy Committee at Christ the King meets on the Second Tuesday of each month at 6:45 PM. The Liturgy Committee at St. Mary meets on the First Sunday of each month immediately after the 11:00 AM Mass. Contact the respective parish office if you would like to participate
